Cycling for a good climate

Yesterday, the 20-day period of the nationwide city cycling campaign ended for the municipality of Königsbach-Stein. The goal of the municipality was to collect as many bicycle kilometres as possible. Companies, school classes and clubs could register as teams of the municipality. Our company also participated in the campaign with 7 cyclists. Whether on the way to work, school, shopping or in their free time, every kilometre counted. Team Eugen Geyer cycled a total of 980 kilometres.

The campaign was supported by an app that tracked every kilometre cycled. With the app, one could also see the kilometres of the team members and those of the teams within the community. This of course spurred the colleagues on to cycle even more kilometres. All in all, the action was a lot of fun and all participants want to cycle with their colleagues again next year.
