New drawing machine in the field of non-ferrous metal in use
After several test runs, the first customer order was drawn today on the new drawing bench in the non-ferrous metal area. Managing director Andreas Schwender and Axel Augenstein, head of the maintenance department, are very satisfied with the new machine. It was developed by Eugen Geyer GmbH itself and is optimally tailored to the company's production spectrum. Thanks to modern control technology, production-relevant parameters can be better adapted to the requirements of the respective forming process. The production frame mainly accommodates copper tubes with wall thicknesses of up to 5 mm, but also tubes made of aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
The new drawing machine complements the extensive range of machinery in the non-ferrous metal and stainless steel sectors and enables Geyer to optimally serve the needs of the market. Managing directors Andreas Schwender and Lorenz Geyer agree: "Investments in new machines are indispensable in order to respond to the rapid changes in the market. Only in this way can we ensure the satisfaction of our customers and the future of the company."
